858ddf6777 Added debug=2 in release profile to all examples. 
This makes rtt output work right when using `cargo run` in release mode.

Debug was already enabled for release builds in some of the examples but
not all.

stm32: fix DAC examples 
The DAC driver defaults to enabling the channel trigger, but leaves it
at the default value of TIM6 TRGO, then performs a software trigger
after writing the new output value. We could change the trigger
selection to software trigger, but for this example it's simpler to just
disable the trigger.

054ca17f66 Switch from probe-run to probe-rs-cli. 
- probe-run screwed up the last release 2 weeks ago and it's still not fixed (issue 391). Doesn't look well maintained.
- Even when it's not broken, it lags behind probe-rs-cli in new chips support because it's slow in updating probe-rs.

1321: executor: add Pender, rework Cargo features. r=Dirbaio a=Dirbaio

This introduces a `Pender` struct with enum cases for thread-mode, interrupt-mode and
custom callback executors. This avoids calls through function pointers when using only
the thread or interrupt executors. Faster, and friendlier to `cargo-call-stack`.

`embassy-executor` now has `arch-xxx` Cargo features to select the arch and to enable
the builtin executors (thread and interrupt).

3af991ab63 usb: unify ControlHandler+DeviceStateHandler, route all control requests to all handlers. 
- Allows classes to handle vendor requests.
- Allows classes to use a single handler for multiple interfaces.
- Allows classes to access the other events (previously only `reset` was available).

2e85eaf7d5 examples Remove the fn config() idiom. 
It was only useful for doing #[embassy_executor::main(config = "config()")]`. Now that
it's gone, it makes more sense to build the config in main directly.

1f746e0939 Remove the authors field from Cargo.tomls 
It currently contains whoever was first to write some code for the crate,
even if many more people have contributed to it later.

The field is "sort of" deprecated, it was made optional recently:
https://rust-lang.github.io/rfcs/3052-optional-authors-field.html

Due the the reasons listed there I believe removing it is better than
setting it to generic fluff like "The Embassy contributors".

fc32b3750c Remove embassy_hal_common::usb. 
The replacement is `embassy-usb`. There's a WIP driver for stm32 USBD in #709,
there's no WIP driver for stm32 USB_OTG. This means we're left without
USB_OTG support for now.

Reason for removing is I'm going to soon remove `embassy::io`, and
USB uses it. I don't want to spend time maintaining "dead" code
that is going to be removed. Volunteers welcome, either to update
old USB to the new IO, or write a USB_OTG driver fo the new USB.

550da471be stm32: Remove OptionalPin 
The idea behind OptionalPin has a few problems:

- you need to impl the signal traits for NoPin which is a bit weird https://github.com/embassy-rs/embassy/blob/master/embassy-stm32/src/dcmi.rs#L413-L416
- you can pass any combination of set/unset pins, which needs checking at runtime  https://github.com/embassy-rs/embassy/blob/master/embassy-stm32/src/dcmi.rs#L130

The replacement is to do multiple `new` constructors for each combination of pins you want to take.

3811c0a401 Add adapter for implementing async traits for blocking types 
This allows writing drivers relying on async traits, while still
functioning with implementations that already implement the embedded-hal
traits.

Add examples to stm32l4 for using this feature.

2221e1fa93 Replace rustflags with build.rs extra-link-args. 
Rustflags apply to ALL the crates in the graph, while we only need
them for the toplevel crate which is the only one getting linked.

Rustflags are not equal for all crates, this caused cargo to re-build the
same dependency crate multiple times uselessly. After this change, deps
are reused more, making builds faster.

Note that this only applies when sharing the target/ dir for multiple crates
in the repo which is not the default.
